What you’ll need :
3 Tbsp Borax
1 Cup Boiling Water
Ribbon (curling ribbon works best, we used gold cording)
Stick (you can use straws too!)
The color of pipe cleaner determines the color of your geodes.
-Shape pipe cleaner and thread ribbon through the outer edge.
-Lower it into your empty container and using your stick tie the ends around it so that your pipe cleaner does not touch the container. Once it is tied to the right height, remove from container.
-Bring water to a boil and pour into container. Add Borax and stir until completely dissolved.
-Add pipe cleaner and cover with dish cloth.
-Let sit for at least 5 hours.
-Remove and carefully pull out your ribbon from geode
-Be amazed at your new creation!
